Partial Hospitalization Program
Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) is the most common level of care that we have to offer. During PHP in Lexington, Kentucky, our clients are in our program for 30 days. Our PHP program offers intensive care as well as a flexible schedule that will allow our clients to remain plugged into normal life.
Intensive Outpatient Program
Our next level of care after PHP is our intensive outpatient program (IOP). IOP is best for those who need a high level of care, yet have school, work, or family obligations and need a flexible treatment schedule. Some clients might step down from PHP to IOP whereas others might begin IOP following inpatient detox or other stabilization services.
Outpatient Program
Standard outpatient programs allow clients to practice recovery in the real world under the guidance of a therapist. Most people meet receive services once per week in either an individual or group setting. Most people in this program have the skills necessary to maintain sobriety and stable mental health. However, they seek additional help for continued growth and maintenance.

Our Services
Trauma Therapy
Trauma is one of the most common underlying causes of addiction. Many people use drugs and alcohol to numb themselves from the distressing thoughts and feelings associated with the past. Our trauma therapy helps clients heal from the past to move forward in recovery.
Holistic Therapy
At Lexington Addiction Center, we believe in treating the whole person in recovery. Our holistic approach includes things like yoga, nutritional guidance, meditation, recreation therapy, and exercise. That way, our clients gain additional coping skills to enhance their treatment program.
Family Therapy
Drug and alcohol addiction affects the entire family. It’s important to address issues within the family resulting from addiction at home. In addition, family therapy helps to repair relationships and build a natural support system consisting of family members and other loved ones.
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
At Lexington Addiction Center, we offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) designed to support clients with their recovery. Through the use of MAT, clients take medications while engaging in behavioral therapy. As a result, they can reduce the risk of relapse and ease withdrawal symptoms.
12-Step/Life Skills
Substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders impact several aspects of a person’s life. They might feel alone in these struggles and unsure of what to do. Peer support in 12-Step recovery can help clients feel less alone in their struggles while life skills training prepares them for success throughout their recovery.
Alcohol Addiction

Lexington Rehab Programs
Our rehab programs provide outpatient care, which means our clients do not reside within our facility. Therefore, clients will need to live in a safe, stable, and supportive environment throughout treatment. Most of our clients live in a sober living home or with family members to hold them accountable for their recovery goals. It is best for our clients to complete an inpatient detox program or other stabilization services before beginning outpatient treatment.
However, our outpatient programs do offer varying levels of care for those in recovery. That way, our clients can step down from more intensive services to a lower level as they make progress in their treatment.
