Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) is the highest level of care we offer at Lexington Addiction Center. This program is great for those who are ready for outpatient treatment but still need a lot of structure and support to maintain sobriety and manage mental health symptoms. Our clients also obtain valuable life skills and coping techniques for long-term recovery.
Our next level of care after PHP is our intensive outpatient program (IOP). IOP is best for those who need a high level of care, yet have school, work, or family obligations and need a flexible treatment schedule. Some clients might step down from PHP to IOP whereas others might begin IOP following inpatient detox or other stabilization services.
Standard outpatient programs allow clients to practice recovery in the real world under the guidance of a therapist. Most people meet receive services once per week in either an individual or group setting. Most people in this program have the skills necessary to maintain sobriety and stable mental health. However, they seek additional help for continued growth and maintenance.
At Lexington Addiction Center, we understand how harmful addiction to substances can be to a person’s overall health and well-being. That is why we provide our clients with safe and effective treatment programs and services designed with their individualized needs in mind. Our unique and personalized approach to care is rooted in our mission to make the recovery process as affordable and accessible as possible. As a result, we can help all of those who are struggling with addictions and/or mental health issues. Our rehab programs provide outpatient care, which means our clients do not reside within our facility. Therefore, clients will need to live in a safe, stable, and supportive environment throughout treatment. Most of our clients live in a sober living home or with family members to hold them accountable for their recovery goals. It is best for our clients to complete an inpatient detox program or other stabilization services before beginning outpatient treatment.
However, our outpatient programs do offer varying levels of care for those in recovery. That way, our clients can step down from more intensive services to a lower level as they make progress in their treatment.
Trauma is one of the most common underlying causes of addiction. Many people use drugs and alcohol to numb themselves from the distressing thoughts and feelings associated with the past. Our trauma therapy helps clients heal from the past to move forward in recovery.
At Lexington Addiction Center, we believe in treating the whole person in recovery. Our holistic approach includes things like yoga, nutritional guidance, meditation, recreation therapy, and exercise. That way, our clients gain additional coping skills to enhance their treatment program.
Drug and alcohol addiction affects the entire family. It’s important to address issues within the family resulting from addiction at home. In addition, family therapy helps to repair relationships and build a natural support system consisting of family members and other loved ones.
At Lexington Addiction Center, we offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) designed to support clients with their recovery. Through the use of MAT, clients take medications while engaging in behavioral therapy. As a result, they can reduce the risk of relapse and ease withdrawal symptoms.
Substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders impact several aspects of a person’s life. They might feel alone in these struggles and unsure of what to do. Peer support in 12-Step recovery can help clients feel less alone in their struggles while life skills training prepares them for success throughout their recovery.
At Lexington Addiction Center, we offer a wide range of programs and services designed to ease the process of recovery for clients struggling with substance use and/or other mental health disorders. Furthermore, our passionate rehab team dedicates themselves to providing the support you need to reach all of your sobriety and mental health goals. I am so happy I ended up at Lexington Addiction Center. I had been to multiple rehabs in the past. I was lost, depressed and suicidal. Luckily, I did not give up and landed at LAC! My therapist is in recovery so I could relate to her experience. I was able to see the psychiatrist on a regular basis and the groups were engaging so valuable. Thank you to all the staff!
Coming off drugs and alcohol was so scary for me. I had no idea who to call or where to look. I was nervous about the detox, and I was a mess. I am so grateful I ended up at Lexington Addiction Center. The staff is AWESOME! I am now sober for the first time in a LONG time.
My husband had been to multiple facilities in recent years. He struggled with opiates and heroin after a car wreck. I was hopeless and thought my life partner would never get sober and our marriage would end in a divorce. Luckily, I ended up calling Lexington Addiction Center, the admissions process was quick and simply. He ended up staying for 90 days and is now sober for the first time. They addressed the mental health side of addiction which he had never seen anyone for. Also, they offer family therapy which was great for our family. Thank you to all the staff!
I thought my daughter was incapable of being sober. She had been to 8 facilities in 3 years before admitting to LAC. When I called Lexington Addiction Center, I knew right away this was where my daughter needed to be. They addressed her mental health and trauma which was the underlining issue of why she used drugs and alcohol. I am so grateful we found LAC, Thank you to all the staff.
